## Findings
| Business model | Businesses | 25th | Median / month | 75th |
| --- | ---: | ---: | ---: | ---: |
| SaaS | 56 | $8.2k | $14.5k | $23.5k |
| Subscription app | 22 | $8.4k | $11.7k | $19.1k |
## Sample
- Published startups: 81
- With a current revenue figure: 80
- Solo-founded in that cohort: 69
- Segments withheld below the sample floor: 2
## Method
- Revenue counts when it is a current figure in US dollars on a monthly or annual rate. Annual figures are divided by twelve; lifetime totals are excluded rather than guessed at, because a cumulative number and a monthly one do not belong in the same column.
- A business that charges two ways is counted under both models, so the group sizes add up to more than the cohort.

Read it as what independent founders in this bracket actually earn — not as what a business model is worth in general.
